Martha Skinner’s image of a branch washed up on a shore line was taken after experiencing severe uprooting and hardship from hurricane devastation. Nicole Lenzi’s image of the Sun Voyager was taken in Iceland shortly after her mother’s passing. The sculpture is a symbol of hope and new beginnings in the Nordic country.
