Structural Passages Artist Feature: Nicole Lenzi's Walking Drawings (Vienna)

In Walking Drawings: Vienna, I was responding to the Baroque and Art Nouveau inspired architecture that I passed by on its city streets. The activity brings together interests in unconventional drawing and mapping a sense of place.

Nicole Lenzi works between mediums and dimensions to expand the concept of drawing. She is interested in how drawing, time, space, and thinking can affect and redevelop each other. Lenzi has exhibited nationally in the United Statese and internationally. Lenzi has had residencies at Montalvo Arts Center and Soaring Gardens and earned a B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University (1995) and M.F.A. from Maryland Institute College of Art (2007).
